Is there any reason why the webcam hasn't been working for the last few days?

Yes.
A full explanation can be found in the text beneath the place where the image would normally appear in the link below.

For those wondering how they got Prince onto the SVR, he was on display in the excellent Engine House museum. Real Big Smile

The timetables for 2012 are now on line.

              http://www.festrail.co.uk...hr.htm?mn=3&sm=3-1

With the exception of next week and some trains in November and  December all Welsh Highland trains now go right through to Porthmadog Harbour station.
This means that it's now possible in the peak season to do a full round trip on both the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railways in one day. You'd need to choose a yellow blue or red day from the F.R. timetable when there's at least one round trip from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog at or after 16:00. Then check the W.H.R times for that day to ensure that the 09:35 from Porthmadog to Caernarfon is running. This train should return to Portmadog at 15:20 giving time to catch the 16:00 to Blaenau and back.

Circular trips are also possible using bus services between Caernarfon and Blaenau. For the part of this journey between Bangor or Llandudno junction and Blaenau standard gauge rail travel is an option.

I've just viewed the last of the Cob widening time lapse videos.
The Cob works look good but what caught my eye was a quarry Hunslet. I guess Hugh Napier is back together and on trials. Prior to the current restoration the last time she (he?) moved under her own steam was 1954!  Real Big Smile

With respect Mel Britomart is blue with a cab, the one in the time lapse is cabless and black.

Just having a coffee and slice of cake, when for the first time, I noticed the tide movement on the timelapse!
Marvelous (especially if you spin forward to about 1:30)!!
