Today on the WGLR 24/02/11 03:40 PM (permalink)
[Helpful answer received] / [List Solutions Only]
First really nice day of 2011, so trains have been running today on the WGLR.

Tramway diesel out first, taking the Lowmacs (properly loaded and secured) to the yard ready for the Perway gang's night time possession.

Passing over Foggy Bottom viaduct.

Then through The Narrows.

Finally shunted into the yard, allowing a passenger service to pass.

Kerr Stuart No.1 passes through The Narrows with her passenger train.

Through the woods before crossing Church Street.

Crossing Foggy Bottom. The train consists of - passenger baggage van (actually carrying batteries & remote control kit) (re-painted LGB), ex Glyn Valley Tramway all first (Andel kit), 2 compartment all 3rd (Brandbright kit on LGB chassis), 3rd/baggage/brake (IP kit on LGB chassis), goods van (scratch-built body on LGB Feldbahn chassis), and ex Vale Of Rheidol brake van (IP kit).

    The end Real Big Smile.

I see Mel has been in my shed again, this time it's the Volvo mini digger, I can tell 'cos of the 'dirt' sprayed on.
Pity I don't have Lowmacs (my family name is Lomas, only need the WC to be complete Roll On Floor Laughing ) so the thing gets posed reposing from digging (no driver).

Silly me for thinking that "Xelicopter" is Welsh for "pirate map".
Even sillier for thinking that Welsh does not use the letter "X".

Looks like the Wetton Gooey is well and truly running (to full capacity - probably not eh ? )

Yes you're right Paul. There's no way I could possibly run all of my stock on the railway now, I tend to go for themed period running days. I certainly don't NEED any more rolling stock - but since when does that stop us? Thumbs UpThumbs Up Roll On Floor LaughingRoll On Floor Laughing

Of course, a standard gauge interchange siding is on it's way ........... and there's only one truck for that at the mo  Real Big Smile.
