Thanks muchas for another great get together. These days are really a excellent way of running kit through the winter and to meet up with the 'old contemptibles'

Ah...that's what it is....Tony seems to having problems with his ~~anus~~ ..his annie

Two F3s (A+B), 6 heavy aluminium streamline cars, loco and car lights, a sound card charging up a dead back-up battery...and only 5 amps available.......very slow running speed was necessary when operating me Rio Grand 'Ski Train'. In fact we had to take off the third loco (another B unit) as the amp draw was tripping the power supply all the time!

Hi Richie. Yes it was a good time and I was pleased to give the ski train an outing (it could also be used as the Rio Grande 'Prospector' as the cars are more in keeping with that train, the ski cars were a more modern design). but due to the 5 amp limit we had to only use the A+B and leave the other 'B' off. Lucky I didn't bring the second 'A' unit as well. I said to Stuart that if I bring the whole train again, I will also bring a 12 amp power unit! With that extra welly, the carriage lights, sound and even smoke could be used as well.

Ed will bring his birthday cake. I hope it's a nice big rich fruit one. No icing or marzipan (got that Ed). I will do the usual pork pies, sausages etc. along with beverages. Ed will bring a crate of suffolks finest beer to celebrate his birthday & as a bonus i will get a big bag of Tyrells chilli crisps to wash down with it. You will bring another of your super trains to give it a run (don't forget the extra power supply) as i can't plug direct into Bradwell power station now they've gone & switched it off. All in all just another normal meet. Be good to see you Mike.
