Old Tom Ferrysteam Stephen has the right idea,a condensation box, just a box with the exhaust going into it...... Cheers Allan, I think that's the way I'll be going. I think I can fabricate one out of sheet brass which will not only stop the huge plume of steam, it will also add a bit of bulk to the loco's outline. Thanks to both of you I'm really enjoying this little loco - it's got loads of room for 'enhancements'. Here is an off the shelf Chedder version which is prbably too big but the derscription explains how it works and would be simple to make: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CONDENSER-TANK-/150415643757?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item230578946d

I was beaten by a computer at chess recently - but it was no match for me at kick-boxing.
