Hi Mike
Have taken some pic's for you my Annie has a plastic Bachmann coupler thats the same height as the AMS body mount on my snow plow and the other Bachmann Big Hauler has been fitted with a Bachmann drop down metal one that couples to the tender of the Annie .

The top one (brown) tis the same that I have used.I think that my ones maybe a little longer but it could be the angle of the camera. Did you have to cut the spring arms off like I did?
It is good to know that the 'normal' coupler will couple with AMS kit...............

Looking at the pic of the drop down coupler i removed the whole spring fixing which is fixed on with a screw that might be why it looks  shorter will look again when i go out to the garage  seems to work well pushing the Annie . The black coupler is the height of the coupler on my plows tender which i think is a different height than usal AMS stock as i do remember that your front coupler on your Accucraft K-27 wouldn't match my plows tender .

Looking at this picture of the one that I have used, what was different to your one Richie? If you removed the light brown bit with the mounting hole, how did you manage to mount it in the coupler pocket and still have it swinging side to side  (oooh er Misses :bleh?

Have just removed the cow catcher the coupling is srcewed on through the hole that held the plastic spring allowing the coupling to swing from side to side .
