Been a member for several years myself too. No complaints here. In fact this thread has just reminded me that I need to send my subscription off for this year

Yup, me too....  How did we ALL miss the resub form, presumably in the last magazine? Anyway, going to do it now by Paypal - nice and easy! Jon. Edit: just done it - quick and painless!

Paid this year using Pay-Pal really easy always used to forget to pay straight after Christmas until the reminder came through the post

I decided to let my membership go this Year. I did in fact email the Hon Membership Sec prior to a reminder thankfully. I had been in the Society for 5 or 6 years and to be honest found that the Mag was just not worth the price of Membership, a Local Group non existent. Now I am still in the 16mm Society and the mag is worth twice the Subs so it was not about Money. Just that the G Scale Society "FOR ME" gave little. I did use to attend the Meetings up in Cambs and North thereof but local friends left the G Scale Society some 2 or 3 years ago so I guess that it was inevitable that I might too. If things changed significantly I can always rejoin (if they will have me back)! I do in fact find that this forum gives me so much more than being a member of the G Scale Society. JonD

Got areminder come yesterday to thou sent of sub's on Tuesday so crossed in the post, me think's the reminder's may have gone out a bit sooner this year Well worth joining for the mag alone , as well as meeting up with other member's In the past other member's of the family have joined me up as a small extra Christmas present (not this year though might be why I got a reminder)

Renewed on line before Christmas using Paypal - quick and easy to do. It's one of the few things I actually use Paypal for, along with my subscription to the US magazine "Railpace" I'm trimming back on the number of things I am a member of/subscribe to (some of very long standing - i.e over 20 years), but thought that the GSS was worthy of continuing with.
