Good day today. Got the first aviary demolished. A bit of a pig of a job as this one was located in a corner of the garden and had been patched up many times. The next one should be much more straight-forward. Then it'll just be a case of getting the apple tree cut down before construction can begin.

The only outstanding problem is getting rid of all the left-over bits. Still undecided whether to have several trips to the tip, or hire a skip.

A skip would also avoid damaging your car.
Okay, rails are up so the trains are in the garage, shed etc, buildings moved to one side.
Demolished aviaries. Where are the birds?

The wind blew it over! Fortunately the gas bottle is nearly empty so the hose pulled the bottle over, otherwise it could have been the big kapowee!

                          Yeeeeessssss,

at the risk of getting back on thread ................ both of the condemmed aviaries have been taken down now and here is the space we've been left with.

The space to the left of the shed is where the first aviary was. This will become a bit of a storage and work area with the potting bench and compost bin in it. It will also become the site of the new Gooey station.

The dark gravel bed was the old site of Gooey and the lighter gravel bed to it's right was under the old town section. I'll have a bash at showing how the new trackplan will fit in later.

You can also see the remaining big aviary with the birds in it!!!! Thumbs Up
