Brill storyboard - very well thought out (and great eye for detail too). Very entertaining! Where did you get the blocks from?

Thanks Don - good idea that mould - they remind me very much of the Bradstone blocks or punch dressed sandstone! Like them - you've given me some ideas!

I just got back from hospital actually

but Len says when he twisted his ankle, the force was too much for his knee joint.  Thumbs Down

He's still smiling but,  I fancy he also needs a neck collar.Real Big Smile

Tell Len he needs to wait for the weekend before getting legless..............................

He's not actually 'legless'

just slightly handicapped

the medical options are being considered

1,   reattatchment, ( the plastic is still warm)

2,   replace with a wooden leg

althought there is a colleague on the payroll with one already

That reminds me,  he has not been seen around recently

On perusing the companys records found a recorded sighting of Karl the painter back in March 2006

but later photos of that coach show that seat empty

I hope that does not mean hes been thrown out on a corner & is in the bushes somewhere

Will really have to get Personnel dept to speed up their IT Dept

But we digress

progress requires extension upwards of the planking

Just a little point in passing

as this is a heritage corner of the railway,

Mat has to be very careful that when he does the pointing,

So it doesnt look like its just been done

it has to look as if it needs doing

The crew have now got as far as putting a slab roof on

as this is gong to be a multipurpose structure we dont want any leaks from rain or overflowing tanks

descending onto the occupier

Getting better and better.  What make are the animated figures? They look very much like the 1/18 military figures.

The figures are 1/12th scale, from a cheapo outlet, 6 commandoes in an acrylic tube for 2.99,     4?  years ago, so 50p each

The plastic tends to get a bit brittle if left out in the sun, hence the leg drop

I love the door frame, it looks like this railway company likes to recyle things where ever possible. Great.
When is the water tank arriving.

The door frame was originally the side of a drawer from a sideboard, cut into scale size lumber , in this case 10mm square aprox,  about 4 years ago & left in the open but sheltered from rain to weather.  I made it, painted it with green acrylic paint, filled in to the stonework with a cement mix let dry & when I rubbed the surplus cement off,  some of the paint came too, leaving the grey wood showing through. I was going to give it another coat of green but rather like the look of it as it is.  Real Big Smile

Water tank,
waiting a slot for the crane to be out that way to lift it into position.
Its a cornish miners type thing,  slabs held together with long bolts
