Advice needed please on ESU card

I received a Loksound XL 52500 decoder today. It was sold to me as Plug n Play. It isn't and will almost certainly be returned but the packaging has several empty pockets. Can anyone advise please on what might/should have been in them? EDIT oops forgot the photograph.

The Loksound XL 52500 I had came with the same packaging with empty spaces. Do ESU perhaps sell a package with speaker + connectors included, perhaps not even aimed at largescale? It would make sense for them to use the same packaging for everything, even if in some cases the spaces were not used.
