I started a while ago collecting locos  make a big four engine unit for my boxcars,

by degrees I got them all arealy mixed bag,

After a few trials, I calculated that I only needed four motors to easily shift the biggest load  50 cars.

It also meant that I would ony need one loco module four the whole set,

The next job was to prep the chassis , and fit some plain wheels, (thanks minimans again)
I also lowered all the units to the lowest I could and also fit new drawbars,
Painted them all to match,

I reused abit of stuff as a drawbar

Truck side frame yoke  the lowered truck is on the left

I lowered then so much the pilot was scraping the rail tops

While the paint and glue was drying  I looked at the cab interiors,
they are very visible when the cab light are on ,and there is a nice lot of detail inside begging to be seen.

Not sure what that big brute of a guy is doing here, but he is being monitored

The headlamp unit needed some improvement, so I found some cheap mini torches, and made the reflector fit the bezel,

I also got bright 3mm diodes to fit where the lamp was,

I needed a set of glazing for one of the FA/s so I photocopied the other set I have and stuck the pictures onto perspex wiv some wallpaper paste,  not sure if it will work but looks promising.

When it drys I should be able to cutt and file to shape then remove the pics.
