Has anyone purchased Model Town Figures - are they the right size to use with LGB layouts?

I was going to buy a couple at £3 each to try, but they want a minimum order of £15!

Thanks for posting this question Mike.  I've been looking for signs/figures for a while and didn't find any I liked.... until I looked at their site, after you reminded me of them.  (The sad thing is that they are on my favourites list but I just didn't see them! Crying

My order will be with them tomorrow.Real Big Smile

I believe they are actually sized for 16mm ie 1:19

When I ordered from them they were happy to do an order of under £15 over the phone, but charged postage, which seems fair enough.  I bought 2 painted ones and they are brilliant.

              Mike
I have them on my layout and they look fine with LGB stuff, they have a little character to them.

They are a wee bit big as they are more for 16mm scale.

Pick mine up at shows that modeltown attend. Cheaper if you paint them yourself...

Probably fright as the little fella sat down keeps getting eaten by 1:1 scale mice.

Thanks guys - will buy a couple and see how they fit in. I have two or three Bachman figures - too big I think, but the tip to put them by themselves works well.

Re the lady with the fallen knickers - these could be a hazard as she is so near the track - I think Health & Saftey should look into her knickers.
