New Haven Neil Plenty more where they came from - rather grimy scans from negs I'm afraid. A pity I didn't go a bit further along the road alongside the reservoir to compare it with now.

'Tis interesting, the number of old roads you see that should really have bee railways (in your mind), and then you come across old railways in the most unlikely places. A month ago we were on Lundy (tiny island bird sanctuary at the Atlantic end of the Bristol Channel) walking along the cliff/hillside on, you guessed it, and old tramway bed. I don't think they had engines, just ponies.

KeithT Not so, mine's yellow in the middle as well! Your what is yellow in the middle? Er, custard doughnut? Vanilla Slice?? Loco! so thats a yes to all three then
