In readiness for the re-opening of the Cornwall Branch,  there have been some groundworks to do,

the old connection got washed out more than a year ago, the track level has sank by about four inches  so a new incline was made and an area cleared for a bridge,  a test train was ran today all seems ok, even the track power got to the end OK,

    Great rocky line, Pete!

I like the structure and surface of the rocks...granite?

Seems u have to lift the line just a bit to go under it... Real Big Smile

I could not get motivated today, so for a change I added some interior detail to my chopped down bachman cabboose,

I will add the eggs when the bacon has cooked some!

The cook has a serious problem as he cant stand up!

Today I been running trains up and down the branchline, then I got cold so, was mooching about following threads and links and found some really weird stuff,

I had removed the rubber traction tyred wheels from my RDC and , stumbled  on this amazing machine,

                    rubber tyred switcher,

The ships wheel was the steering wheel

                    prototype for everything

Still confused about the time of day, I thought we had sorted that all out with that Greenwich thing,by the time I got outside it was almost hailstones ,  then I noticed my lens has steemed up anyone any ideas of how to sort that?

Still I got to run the grey locos,

the road running switcher is a very curious piece of machinery, wouldnt want to be at the helm of that thing going down a hill in the rain with several reefers on the move Confused
