Found these close up of my trestle  Shows the nuts & bolts
Is that natural green on there,/ looks brilliant I can hear it creek from here !!

Hi Mr Spock
My trestle was built several years back now was made from strips of 10mm & 5mm hard wood from my local hardware store some bits were soft like balsa wood gets a coat of creosote most years the green is natural weathering , to date i haven't had to replace any wood yet .
