Which is more than large enough to cope with all kinds of stock. I was even able to run my 1:20.3 scale Bachmann 2-8-0 through it without a hitch which has a very wide front beam.

The tunnel mouth does not come with shown abutments but these can be purchased as a pair from the website if needed.

One of the first things that grabs you is the weight or lack of! They look like they are built from real stone due to the realistic manner they have been painted and the very effective stone pattern created on the surface of model but they are of course made from a light weight recyclable material which is fully weather proof, very handy for us outside modellers.

After receiving this review item i was so impressed at the price and quality i ordered a second one to build a tunnel on my own railway. I found the measurements of both tunnel mouths to be very close which made using them very easy and the light weight of tunnel mouths meant i could create a simple and in my case thin tunnel construction due to the tight space tunnel was going to be fitted in. I just held tunnel mouths in place with a couple of self tapping screws while the PVA glue set and as yet they show no signs of movement even with the bright sun, harsh rain and wind they have seen during their couple of weeks out in the garden.

The paint finish does seem to be very well bonded to model and even after my some what heavy handed handling of them while building tunnel the paint did not chip or flake off.

 I did drop one while checking them out and it just bounced with no denting or damage to stone pattern or edges which i was surprised about due to the construction of these models but i think their light weight helped.

All in all for £19.99 plus postage i think these life long models are great value and i will be using more of their products on my garden railway.
